Terms of service
Last updated: 17 October 2026
Who provides the service
The AVCueSync cloud service is provided by Estudio Fenix Software S.L. (tax ID B93836096, Carrer de Nil Fabra, 30, Gràcia, 08012 Barcelona, [email protected]). It is intended for companies and professionals who organise events or provide technical support for them.
Sign-up and account
To use the service you must create an account with accurate details and confirm your email. Whoever creates it acts on behalf of their company and is its administrator. Each user is responsible for keeping their password safe and for what is done with their account.
Free trial, plans and payment
- New accounts may have a free trial, with no card required, for the duration shown at sign-up.
- Plans, what they include (cloud storage, AI generations…) and their prices are those published on the website and in the dashboard at the time of subscribing. Applicable taxes are shown during checkout.
- Payment is by subscription, by card, through Stripe, and renews automatically each period. You can change plans, add storage or buy AI packs from the dashboard.
- If the trial ends without choosing a plan, or the subscription is cancelled or unpaid, the data is kept but no new files can be uploaded to the cloud until it is settled.
Cancellation
You can cancel the subscription at any time from the dashboard, with no lock-in. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid, with no refund for the unused part unless the law provides otherwise. You can download your material before cancelling.
Acceptable use
The service must be used lawfully. You may not upload illegal content or content that infringes third-party rights, attempt to access other organisations' data, or overload or tamper with the service. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, with prior notice except in serious cases.
Your content and data
The material and data you upload are yours. You allow us to store it, process it (for example, extract a ZIP or read the fonts of a presentation) and send it to your room machines, solely to provide the service.
For the personal data of your events (speakers, attendees, technicians), you are the data controller and we are the data processor: we process it only on your instructions and to provide the service, with confidentiality and appropriate security measures; we may rely on the providers listed in the Privacy policy; we will help you respond to data subjects' requests; we will notify you without undue delay of any security breach affecting it; and when the service ends we will delete or return it.
Availability and liability
We use reasonable means to keep the cloud service available and working correctly, but there may be interruptions for maintenance or reasons beyond our control. AVCueSync on-site control desks and rooms are designed to keep working without a connection to the cloud.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for the service is limited to the amount paid by the customer in the twelve months before the event giving rise to it, and we are not liable for indirect damages or loss of profit.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If the change is significant, we will give advance notice by email or in the dashboard; if you do not agree, you may cancel the subscription.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts of Barcelona.
